MY KIND OF PLACE TO ENJOY THE RETIREMENT

For people like us who work full-time for a whole week, we sometimes think about where and how we will spend our retirement age, right? Like anybody out there, I am just thinking about this lately. As I mentioned in my previous blog about the places I want to visit one day, I assumed you already know where I would like to stay later. Before I tell you where it is, I want to describe a little bit about the environment that matches my energy to live there. 

From my background as a person who originated from a mountain area, it has become my favorite spot rather than beaches. Of course, I love to live in a coastal area too, but it is just not my cup of tea. Maybe it's because of the weather, I think, it’s very hot there. In a mountainous area, the weather is always very cool. Other than that, the green color of the grass and the beautiful mountain, lake, and river, look very clean and calm. Besides, most of this area is usually very quiet. As an introverted person, this type of place is heaven for us. The best place I want to visit one day, as I have listed before, is Switzerland. It will become my first choice as a retirement place.

As you know, Switzerland has many beautiful landscapes. From most of them, I will choose one village to live in: Grindewald city. It's not because of the Harry Potter movie (of course, I love that movie). However, it's just the environment that attracts me the most. Can you see from the picture above, about the calmness and peace, right? I am dreaming of sitting in front of my veranda, listening to chill songs, while seeing the scenery. Those days, huhhh, I hope my dream to stay there will come true.

CANOEING FOR THE FIRST TIME

I will talk about my first canoeing experience in Paniai Lake. So, it began after my mom told me to take some vegetables to another village. My mother's village is called Uwodege. This is a village located in West Enarotali, Paniai Regency. In this case, we had to go to Kito village, around an hour from Uwodege. This story happened when I was 10 years old. I went with my cousin's sister Dolina to take vegetables, e.g. Casava and pumpkin leaves. I felt excited because it was my first time rowing a canoe. In the middle, I felt really tired, and it made me almost fall out of the canoe. Because of that, my cousin started rowing the canoe by herself. Of course, I felt upset because I could not finish rowing to the other village. Finally, we arrived in Kito and then walked to my cousin's home. After that, we went to the backyard to pick vegetables. We did not wait too long, so after we took the vegetables, we returned to the canoe and started rowing again. But this time, we were ...
